SPF Repair and Re-Roof
Beyond Foam Insulation are your flat roof and low slope specialist.
The cost of re-roofing can be dramatic. An SPF (Spray Polyurethane Foam) Roofing system can mitigate the cost and provide a renewable and seamless roof that lasts. In many cases an SPF Roof can eliminate the need for a full roof tear-off, saving thousands in labor costs.
A typical spray-applied flat roof system is composed of three parts:
First, a layer of rigid spray polyurethane foam is applied. The foam creates a monolithic seal, adding structure and r-value to the existing roof system. The foam is self-flashing and provides a high r-value per thickness of the product applied.
The second step in the system is to apply an elastomeric silicone coating over the foam. The coating is an excellent waterproofing system and provides protection from solar degradation. A base coat of silicone is applied first and then a topcoat.
Thirdly, after the topcoat is applied, a machine is used to spread a granule material which is an added layer of protection.

Multi-Point Roof Inspection
If you a concerned about the performance of your existing roof, why not have the Beyond Team provide a multi-point roof inspection. Many older flat roofs in Alberta will be made up of multiple roofs added to the building over the years. It is common to see a BUR roof have an added layer of styrofoam sheets and then covered with a TPO membrane. Our Multi-Point Roof inspection includes core samples, an inspection of weak or sagging areas, an inspection of flashings and sealants, as well a thermal scan to identify hidden problems beneath the surface of the roof. All of the findings of this inspection will be delivered to you in report format.
