Fire Stopping is the use of UL systems to prevent the spread of fire and smoke from one area of a building to another.

Typical areas of concern include the bottom and top of wall assemblies, edge of q-decking, and penetrations where pipes, wires, and vents travel between rooms or units.

Our trained professionals ensure all firestopping and caulking contracts are completed to specification in order to return the assemblies to their original rated fire resistance.

2lb closed-cell polyurethane foam produces excellent results for air seals and for tying in q-decking. The tight closed-cell structure of the foam also creates an air barrier between rooms and levels where fumes typically penetrate and jeopardize air quality.
